Why Stained Concrete?
| Beauty: |
Each Acid Stained Floor is unique,
often with the help of the homeowner. No two floors
are alike. |
| |
|
|
| |
|
| Competitive
Costs: |
Stained Concrete Floors tend to be less expensive
than tile, hard wood, and even carpet.
|
| |
|
| Maintenance: |
Maintenance only involves periodic dusting or mopping.
Floor wax should be applied every few months to maintain
a high gloss and to preserve the sealer.
|
| |
|
| Long Lasting: |
When installed properly, Stained Concrete Floors
will last the life of the floor.
|
| |
|
| Clean: |
Stained Concrete Floors are allergy free and easy
to keep clean. Carpet, wood and tile all hold dirt,
moisture, mold, bacteria fungi and mildew which all
cause serious health
issues.

Custom
Designs:
|
Unlike other floor options where the installer
is limited to the shape of the product, Stained Concrete
Floor designs are limitless. Anything from a simple
one color design to an intricate design where saw
cuts are made prior
to staining. Design options with saw cuts are unending.
And with hundreds of available color choices, the
overall
design of the floor is limited only by your
imagination. Logos and designs can also be etched
and sand-blasted into the floor to add to the effect
as well.
|
Acid Stains can be placed on existing concrete that
is in relatively good shape. However, if your concrete
is in poor condition (excessive patching, nail pops from
tack strip, etc.) a skim coat may be applied to provide
a blank canvas to work with. Skim coats come in white
or gray base colors and react better to stain than regular
concrete floors.
